For National Poetry Month, we’re giving away a digital copy of The Mischief Café poems & prompts book, to our paid subscribers at The Write to Poetry.
The Mischief Café book is part of our wider poetry at home fun. We love some of the cafés our community has hosted in the past!
Whether or not you have (or get) The Mischief Café book, we hope you’ll invite a few friends for cinnamon toast and tea this National Poetry Month—where you can read poetry together, write it together, or do both.
We also invite you to share your Mischief Café poems here in the comment box, for the whole community to enjoy.
Here’s a prompt from The Mischief Café to get you started.
Try It: Mischief Café Poetry Prompt
Write a poem using the title “I’ve Been Asking” or “And Still I Dream” (both title prompts are from the book). Add a little mischief if you like. Toast and tea are optional, both in and out of the poem!
