Random Acts of Poetry Day

Random Acts of Poetry Day-Dare 2020

Date:

Random Acts of Poetry Day is celebrated on the first Wednesday in October. In 2020, that’s October 7.

How to Celebrate:

Random Acts of Poetry Day is about painting poetry in the public square, either literally or figuratively. Chalk your poem onto the sidewalk (or a blackboard), leave one on a subway seat, pin one onto your local grocery store board. Need inspiration for a random act? Download our little book of 10 ideas (below), pick one at random, and take poetry action.
