    If the words
    could turn to body

    I would hold them

    like an infant
    in my arms

    I would feel
    the cry of them

    listen to the
    soft-heart-beat of them

    fold them
    gently to sleep

    in an only-you-know

    light-breathed
    baby dream.

I had read earlier (busy day, so I wasn’t in commenting mode 🙂 ). And when I read it, and now again, I especially like what’s going on here:

        “nearly inhaling ink
        pixel, or frame

        beyond seeing”

    you had not known
that words could turn to body

    become closer than breath
    more tactile than paper

    messages whether in print
    text, voice, image

    could be felt on flesh
    as bumps of shock

    mind startling awake
    emotions awhirl

    nearly inhaling ink
    pixel, or frame

    beyond seeing
    and reading

    words could be
    swallowed as food or drink

      Word turns to body, body
      turns to poetry, poetry
is the bread of the soul, soul.

Found all your poems beautiful. Hope you don’t mind me being inspired copying this one at least inspired by yours. I hope it’s okay. It’s not brilliant but the best I can do. I’m afraid the starry night all the pubs are beautiful. Hope you don’t mind. Take care.
