Poetry Comics: The Poetry Industry

Poetry Comics: The Poetry Industry

Overheard in one of our kitchens:

Parent: [something something something] the Poetry Industry.

Teenager: The Poetry Industry?! [laughs hysterically]. Is that, like, poems? Who’s ever going to make any money on that?

The hearsay was duly shared with one of our editors who works in “the poetry industry” and this comic was offered up. We in the Poetry Industry think a sense of humor might be important.

  4. L. L. Barkat says:

Maureen and Eric, you guys make me laugh! :) I can just see more comics in the series now.

(sorry, Lyla, did I say *series*? No pressure. It just seems to have poetic Calvin and Hobbes possibility ;-) )
