Congratulations and Writing Opportunity: Makes You Mom

By L.L. Barkat 10 Comments

We’re pleased to share this new website with you, from one of our guest writers, Laura Lynn Brown.

Of course we’re partial to the Poetry Moms and the Writing Moms categories. And we’re also delighted that this multi-author website could present a new writing opportunity for you. Watch for the open submissions period later this spring (they’ll be looking for men’s voices, too!).

And, in the meantime, subscribe so you get familiar with the Makes You Mom style.

At last, a mom site with poetry and writing and books and thinking and high-level content (and not a single “How to” and “You’re Doing it Wrong” post 🙂 )

Ah, but how will we know “how to” and whether we’re “doing it wrong”? 😉 I’m excited to watch the site unfold, especially under Laura’s thoughtful leadership.

          Thank you, Kelly. 😀
(There might occasionally be, in essence if not name, a “You’re Doing It Right” post.)

Yes, there’s too much negativity out there already. Time for flowers.

Never a “You’re Doing It Wrong” post.

The atmosphere over there is delightful. It’s the kind of room that feeds the thinker *and* the feeler — my favorite.
