  1. Terrific! I loved this. It brought a big smile to the end of my lunch hour. What a great way to dive back into work.

  2. Sara, you nailed me! I am a poet who had her license revoked and became a journalist.

Marilyn, your comment made Sara smile.

And Megan, your comment made *me* laugh out loud! :)

  4. Does this mean Megan continues to practice without a license?

“…and, occasionally, fiction.” (I love that line.)

  5. L. L. Barkat says:

Lyla, that was my favorite line too. :) Though the last line made me laugh out loud the first time I read it, the other line made me laugh again on 2nd and 3rd readings :)

  6. Yeah, the last line brought a guffaw here on the west coast, too. Actually, the entire piece made me smile. Go, Sara. You’ve most definitely got the chops for all kinds of artistic endeavor, including poetic license (and occasionally, fiction, too. :>)

  7. L. L. Barkat says:

oh yes, Maureen, you can bet I am pulling out all the bribes I can think of :) I want more too!
